Thank you for a lovely stay. The week has gone by too quick. Seeing our family has been the best as they live not to far away. Both our dogs are looking forward to going home for a rest as they have loved the large garden. Will miss seeing the barn owl every evening in the field next to us. Best time to see it is between 8:30-9:00pm, just before darkness. Also the deer in the same field.
Best beach to go on if you have dogs is Rustington. They are allowed off lead anytime of year.
Julie & Kevin with Jimmy & Rosie the dogs, Northamptonshire
Delightful cottage, great walks & good local pub (The Worlds End - https://www.worldsendpatching.co.uk). We got to see a hawk hunting and, a snowy owl flying over the field at dusk and lots of lovely bats. Beautiful garden too - and thanks for arranging the weather - it was perfect. We shall return!

It is the perfect place to return to after a day at the beach-hut! The song of the thrush at dusk is the icing on the cake! P.S. The bed was brilliant!!

We couldn't have found a more lovely cottage to stay in while our own home was being packed to move north. Sara made us utterly welcome. Such a pretty place with beautiful views.

We have had a lovely relaxing couple of days in this very nice cottage. It was perfect for the 4 of us and our sausage dog. Thank you for a lovely week at your cottage Sara. We loved reading about the history of the cottage in your welcome book! Love your garden and comfy beds. We love how you have tried to keep it as a traditional english cottage with the fireplaces and bathroom, but have added a bit of the modern world in the form of washer and dishwasher. Enough mumbling from me now!
Again, thank you.

A very relaxing short stay to visit friends in the area. Lovely position and facilities.
Our excitement came from the torrential rain & flash flood that marooned us for several hours, However, Sara came wading through & reassured us that the house never floods (water lapping at front step) and she was right the torrent of water receeded as quickly as it came up and we did get out!
Val, Eleanor & dogs Nile & Daisy
Quiet, quaint country cottage, in calm and charming country lane. Thanks. Dog friendly - "Woof".

This cottage has a lovely feel about it, we love all the original features. We had a rainy weekend, but the cottage was lovely and snug. Our daughter liked the toys and DVDs. No.1 France Cottages is beautiful, very rustic and natural - we fell in love with it and the gorgeous garden and views. Also Mollie the chicken greeted us mornings and our Bonnie - Labrador retriever went out to say hello to her every morning - I think they may well kiss one another! Sara is lovely, very friendly and helpful with suggestions for great days out and lovely pubs and restaurants:- The Worlds End (www.worldsendpatching.co.uk/), The George (www.georgeatburpham.co.uk/) and the White Swan (www.white-swan-arundel.co.uk/)! I should say Neville is lovely too. They're both very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Countryside walks beautiful.
